| | finally confirmed,..the moment we have been waiting for | | well today it is finally confirmed..the Skeletal remains are those of little caylee anthony.http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081219/ap_on_re_us/missing_florida_girl"took authorities several days to analyze the remains, and some tests are still being completed. Some of the bones were as small as a pebble and had been scattered, and the fragments were hard to find by excavators who searched on their hands and knees, authorities said. The bone fragments did not reveal any trauma before death, Garavaglia said, but exactly what happened to the girl remains a mystery." its so sad that a little girl lost her life..she was so pretty and so full of life. no child should have to go through this..

| | Texas & California | | This has been an ONGOING issue with most "remote" states. I recently went to Alaska, and found the same problems with people from Texas and California. In Colorado; not sure who, or when it all started, but Texans are not the favorite people by anymeans. When I was a kid 30 years ago; I saw many cars/trucks with stickers on them displaying the state of Texas with a circle and slash thru it. I didn't get it being just a kid. They all said I would once I got older; and boy did I ever. Every state has tourism; brings money-momentarily-seasonally and that is a good thing, but what is NOT good, is when they come up and purchase land and decide to parcel it out and build million dollar homes in a "remote" area; then file bankrupsy because nothing panned out. So now we have once beautiful landscaped area demolished by "urbanism" and all was part of a get rich scheme that didn't pan out; they left, we still look at the scars. The people we visited in Alaska had land grandfathered in from the early 1900's (Russian) and it was aprox 500,000 acres. Well, Mr. Hog Boss from Texas went up with his checkbook, and put on a "innocent" face to purchase part of the land as he wanted a place... | |
| | Fascinating Bible Fact #22 | | The Earliest Biblical TextsScholars pour over ancient texts to see what the books of the Bible originally said, but even the earliest manuscripts they have are copies of copies. Archaeologists keep digging to find earlier sources, closer in time to the actual writing. But papyrus crumbles; many ancient works have been lost, burned or buried. In 1979, alongside the Scottish Church in Jerusalem, excavators found two beautiful silver amulets. These date from about the time Jerusalem was overrun by the Babylonians in 587 B.C. What made this find so special was the words inscribed on the amulets: the priestly benediction known as the Aaronic Blessing, seen in Numbers 6:22-27. That makes these artifacts the earliest biblical texts in existence today. | |

| | Australian mining jobs, operating machinery, or low level management | | I am seeking information about the availability of jobs, and potential income in the mining industry in Australia. I currently own and operate my own small business in New Zealand. I have been doing this for the past seven years and I'm now considering a change.
Before buying this business, I spent about 20 years working in quarries in NZ. I worked in hard rock, limestone and alluvial gravel quarries in that time. My experience included the operation and maintenance of dump trucks, bulldozers, processing plant, air track drill rigs, hydraulic excavators, front end loaders etc. I spent about 5 years as an assistant manager in a greywacke quarry and during this time was largely responsible for the drilling and blasting. I then spent seven years as a quarry manager in an alluvial quarry, and during this time assisted in locating a new resource and the ensuing land use consent process to open a new quarry.
I hold a New Zealand "A" Grade quarry managers certificate and a NZ Institute Of Quarrying diploma.
| | how it could be saved? | | 23-hundred hogs were destroyed last night, after a hog operation went up in flames, near Albert City, Iowa.It was around 8-pm Thursday night when Albert City Ambulance personnel were driving back to
Albert City, and discovered a fire just south of there. When they arrived, two hog buildings were engulfed in flames.Nearly 20 hours later, you can still see the smoke coming from a hog operation here at 1946 540th street, near Albert City, Iowa.
This is what's left of two buildings, and nearly 23-hundred hogs.Chuck Eddy, Buena Vista County Sheriff, said, "It's kind of a maze of hog confinements up there, they were kind of all connected. The two that were really destroyed, there were a couple that were completely destroyed, and a couple of the other ones had some fire and smoke damage."As you can see by the pigs that are still alive, at least two other hog buildings made it through the blaze. But, investigators say it could take up to a week or more before they'll know exactly what caused the blaze that demolished two others.Eddy said, "We have to get some excavators in there, so we can move some of the building parts, and get the dead hogs out of there,...
