Discuss Construction Equipment| how to rebuild valve that selects hydro power from front bucket to Backhoe | | I bought a ford 3400 tractor with an arps 730 backhoe and the valve that diverts the hydro fluid from the loader to the arps backhoe is stuck. The previous owner did not run the hoe much so the valve is stuck in loader position. The valve has model number s-75 and part number 1120. If anyone can shed some light on where I can get a rebuild kit or manual or even a web site for this valve that will be better then going blind trying to rebuild this with no specs. Thanks.
| | | | Of what use are guns buried underground? | | GMA had declared Martial Law in the poor province of Maguindanao, south of the Philippine Islands. Her presidency had deemed the military rule necessary to foil a rebellion that supposedly brewed after the gross massacre of 57 people, including media men who wanted to witness and record a group of people file their certificates of candidacy and thereby challenge the powerful incumbent. The 57 were killed in cold blood and were thrashed in a grave with their utility vehicles. The remains were unearthed with the use of a backhoe. The people pointed to the Ampatuan clan responsible for the mass murder. They hold the mayoralty, the governorship, and whatever position there was to make a power play covered from all angles. And the display of mansions gracing plains and hills speak for power that would make anyone cower. Yet, they buried the guns that would enable them to resist and fight the armed forces of the Philippines. Where is the rebellion in that? The Ampatuan men must be made responsible for the murder. Rebellion is another story. | |
| | What A Busy Day At My Parents Plus Some GREAT News!! | | Gosh, it was a busy day! Hubby and I went to my parents to clean the outside of their house of spider webs and what not and to wash all of their curtains which needed it so bad! It had been two years since they've been taken down and washed, they sure needed it! Mom had told me that she and dad had cleaned the whole house Saturday and Sunday but were too tired to vacuum so I did that for them and cleaned out the fish tank. Hubby came in and mopped the floors and helped me put the curtains up. Whew! That's done, thank God! Now they need their porch railings painted but I'm going to talk to my parents tomorrow and see if that can be put off till the spring time. I think they'll be fine with that.
The GREAT news is, mom finally found out what's causing her dizziness!! After suffering with it since April of '08, she finally knows!! She has an inner ear problem. Now I'm not sure exactly what that means because her doctor is on vacation. Get this crap, the nurse was suppose to call mom with the results of her test and she never did so mom called her and got the answering machine. Well, she got a little crafty and figured out a way to get in contact with someone, a person, a human...
| | Huge Roots, what a mess?? | | This weekend we were clearing trees from our property to build the house. Of course you have to dig them out not just cut them off because of the stumps. Did you ever realize how big these stumps were, like huge molars coming out of the earth. I have a tractor with a backhoe so it wasn't terribly bad but what a job. Would you have done it yourself or had someone do the job? | |
| | News that sounds like a JOKE | | Toronto police announced in February that they had arrested the man who had stolen a backhoe with the intention of driving it to a car wash in order to break down a wall and get at the facility's coin machine. The call to police came from a snow plow that was hot on the backhoe's heels, with the driver having diverted from his route to chase the thief.[Toronto Star] Do you think someone forgot to take their medicine | |
| | Snow Plow chases back hoe thief..... | | A man in a snowplow chased a theif who had stolen a back hoe, who used the back hoe to get to break down the wall of a car wash to get to the change machine.Well for one I can tell you it wouldn't be a high speed chase, After a man stole the backhoe and was knocking down the wall he was noticed by the plow driver, who gave chase and called the police, the man took off out of the leaving the coin machine behind.Police had no problem finding the person...Yeap they followed his footprints which lead to an arrestThe theif with be arraigned on theft of over 5,000 dollars and this is my personal favorite, 'mischief'Toronto police say its not the first time construction vehicles have been used to get to cash, but its the first time I've heard of it.Do you know of anyone who has used a construction vehicle to try to steal cash?Mooch that means because her doctor is on vacation. Get this crap, the nurse was suppose to call mom with the results of her test and she never did so mom called her and got the... | |
| | My Dog Won................... | | Today was a red letter day in my little town.
The abandoned house and shed next door finally came down.
At 6am this morning a huge John Deere watchamacallit, with a big toothy bucket on a huge bendy arm thingy, came rolling in from the back alley and began demolition.
It woke up my dog.
The dog woke up me..............
Between the 'reverse alarm', hydraulic hissing, breaking glass, snapping of broken walls, collapsing of roofs, screeching of metal on metal, the pounding of the earth when the bucket hit and the dogs frantic barking..........
Well you can imagine that my lovely dream of bananas and cream was rudely interrupted!
It took all day for the house and shed to get cleared, the lilac bushes and willow trees to come out and the dog to calm down. She ran back and forth inside her dog run barking up a storm. I know loud noises bother her, but she was downright frantic.
Especially when the bucket began pulling the lilac bushes away from the long side of her dog run.
I stood in my side door and took pictures of the demo, but finally the dog's distress had me putting on my shoes and going out into the back yard.
Spunky came right over to me and nearly scaled her fence to...
| | Snowed in | | OY! Had to call off work because we are snowed in.
Thank goodness we are stocked for a few days. When this happened last March, not only were we in for a day, when the plows finally did come, they ended up having to call in a backhoe (no joke) to dig us out from the drifting. Our little rural neighborhood can be described as the nucleus of a triangle of fields. Our little nucleus is also the low level of the area. Drifting can get a bit ridiculous. So far, I have not seen one plow (or a backhoe). Fortunately, I got off work early last night by nearly 4 hours. The interstate and highways were fine, wet but fine. These backroads to home had us down to 15-20 mph, and there were times where we briefly lost traction. Our son was by here last night too, about 2 hours after we got home from our trek down the icy backroads, and it was only getting worse, he said. About another hour and a half later, the sleet started. I was too wiped out to stay up (can you believe I hit the sheets before midnight?!), but the hubs said we actually had thunder and lightning going on when the snow finally hit.So, my shift starts in 8 minutes and I've already called off. Do you really think...
